Yingbo Gao

Yingbo (Ringo) Gao is a skilled Speech Scientist at AppTek since January 2019 and serves as a Research Assistant at RWTH Aachen University, where engagement began in February 2018. Prior experience includes a role as a Deep Learning Researcher at Bayer Crop Science in 2017 and a brief stint as an English Teacher at New Oriental Education & Technology Group in 2013. Yingbo holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Statistical Machine Translation and a Master’s Degree in Communications Engineering, both from RWTH Aachen University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Microelectronics from Fudan University. Additional qualifications include a Nanodegree in Machine Learning from Udacity and participation in the Yale Summer Session in 2014.
