Senior Software Engineer at Apptronik

Daniel Strohfeldt has a long and varied work experience. Daniel began their career in 2014 as a Civil Engineer for the City of Madison, WI, where they managed and recorded data for a 10 million dollar road construction project. Daniel then worked as a R&D Electrical Engineer for EDCS Power from 2015-2017, where they designed sensing circuitry for voltage and phase detection of 380 Volt 3 phase power systems, and high frequency switched +/ - 190 Volt DC power system. Additionally, they developed control algorithms on an FPGA used for 300 kilowatt AC to DC system for uninterruptible power supply units. From 2015-2017, they also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, where they worked on a project funded by the United States Federal Highway Administration. From 2017-2022, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Firmware Engineer at Tesla, where they worked on Software in the Loop Platform and Infrastructure, as well as feature test and development for vehicles. Daniel is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Apptronik.

Daniel Strohfeldt completed their Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Daniel is currently enrolled in Stanford University, with an expected graduation date of 2022.
