Ravi Bhadeshiya

Ravi Bhadeshiya has a varied work experience. Ravi is currently employed as a Senior Robotics Software Engineer at Apptronik since 2020. Prior to this, they were a Robotics Software Engineer II at Honeywell Intelligrated from 2018-2020, where they developed and implemented advanced robotics systems for material handling solutions. Ravi also had technical expertise in motion planning and perception systems, programming in C++ and Python, and utilizing HURC/ROS to create new functionality. Additionally, they maintained and updated code bases, and utilized V-Rep simulations to test and prove functionality for production. From 2016-2017, they worked as a Graduate Student Assistant at the University of Maryland, where they researched and implemented efficient resource and task allocation capabilities, and coordinated path-planning efforts between autonomous aerial vehicles. This project was supported by NASA.

Ravi Bhadeshiya obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechatronics from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedbabd between 2011 and 2015. Ravi then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Robotics from the University of Maryland, which they completed in 2018. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Coursera Course Certificates and edX, including Robotics: Estimation and Learning, Robotics: Perception, Robotics: Mobility, Robotics: Computational Motion Planning, Robotics: Aerial Robotics, edX Honor Code Certificate for Autonomous Navigation for Flying Robots, edX Honor Code Certificate for Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science, and edX Honor Code Certificate for Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python.
