Susanne Dunlap

Susanne Dunlap is an experienced professional in the writing and publishing industry. Susanne has been an owner of Susanne Dunlap Book Coach since 2020, and an author at Susanne Dunlap Books since 2003. From 2011-2017, they were the Co-founder of Appy Couple, and was chosen as one of ten companies in the Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator program. In 2021, they became the Certification Program Manager of Author Accelerator. Susanne is also the owner of Susanne Dunlap Book Coaching and Editing, where they are an Author Accelerator Advanced Certified Book Coach. Prior to this, they were a Senior Copywriter at Channing Bete Company from 2017-2020, Managing Director of Pioneer Valley Symphony from 2013-2017, Director of Development of Connecticut Opera from 2000-2003, and a consultant at Commonwealth Opera from 2003-2005. Susanne was also a Senior Copywriter at Draft Worldwide from 1998-2000.

Susanne Dunlap obtained their AB in Music from Smith College between 1972 and 1976. Susanne later obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Music History, Literature, and Theory from Yale University between 1991 and 1999. In February 2020, they became an Author Accelerator Certified Book Coach in Fiction and Nonfiction. Susanne also holds a PhD certification.
