Jonathan Raoult has over 15 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Jonathan began their career in 2003 as a PL/SQL Software Engineer at TOTAL. Jonathan then worked as a PHP Software Engineer at BEIC in 2004, followed by a role as a Java Software Engineer at Sicap AG in 2005. In 2007, they became a Java Software Engineer at Softway Medical, and in 2008 they were a "Labs" Software Engineer at Systar, where they prototyped FLEX GUI. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Freelancer, taking on various roles such as Software Engineer on the multimedia broadcasting software "Lifeshow", Software Engineer on the custom in-house "social" CMS "Linsktream", Software Engineer on a social portal, and Software Engineer on the iOS application "Fleurs Vivaces". In 2012, they became a Software Engineer at Atlassian. In 2014, they were a Software Engineer at TokBox, where they worked on OpenTok and insured the maintenance and evolution of the JS SDK, as well as helping other teams with their front-end concerns and technical decisions. In 2017, they were a Software Engineer at EDITED, and in 2018 they became a Technical Co-founder at Aprao - Development Appraisals Reimagined.

Jonathan Raoult received a three year degree in Computer Software Engineering from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in 2005, and a two-year diploma from a university institute of technology in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Université Pierre Mendès-France (Grenoble II) in 2003.
