Lynda Chin

Co-Founder, President and CEO at Apricity Health

Lynda Chin's work experience includes being the Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Apricity Health since November 2017. Prior to that, they served as an Adjunct Professor at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin since April 2015. Lynda also worked as the Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Innovation Officer at The University of Texas System from April 2015 to November 2017. From September 2011 to April 2015, they were the Founding Chair of the Department of Genomic Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Additionally, they held positions as a Senior Associate Member at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from 2009 to 2011, a Professor at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School from 1998 to 2011, and a Specialty Dermatologist at Chinatown Dermatology from 1997 to 2002.

Lynda Chin obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Neuroscience from Brown University from 1984 to 1988. Following that, they attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 1989 to 1993, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. After completing their MD, they pursued further education and training at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital from 1993 to 1994, participating in the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Finally, from 1994 to 1997, they attended Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, specializing in Dermatology through the Dermatology Residency Program.
