Stefan Biberfeld

Stefan Biberfeld has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Stefan began their career as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army from March 1983 to February 1993. Stefan then worked as an Assistant Attorney General at the Attorney General's Office in Washington, where they defended tort actions brought against state agencies and their employees. Following this, Stefan joined Lane Powell PC as an Associate, where they defended tort and personal injury actions against national retail stores and individuals. Stefan then moved on to Shulkin Hutton P.S. as an Associate, before joining Corbis France as an Associate General Counsel for the EMEA region. In this role, Stefan managed all legal activities for Europe at the international creative media distribution company. After leaving Corbis France in January 2012, Stefan founded their own consulting company called Celer Media Consulting. During their time as the owner, they provided consulting services. Stefan's most recent position is as the Legal & Compliance Director IPMI / Data Protection Correspondent at APRIL International, where they work directly with senior management and develops compliance and ethics efforts for the company.

Stefan Biberfeld completed their education with a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Western New England University in 1992. Stefan then pursued their Juris Doctor degree in Legal at Seattle University School of Law from 1993 to 1996. In 2004, they obtained a Diploma in UK, European & US Law of Copyright and Related Rights from King's College London.
