Truc Nguyen

Truc Nguyen has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2009 when they worked as Logistics staff at Apotek 1. In 2013 they moved to Ad fontes - studentpub, where they held the role of Head of Finance, Treasurer and Board Member. In 2015 they began working as a Resident Assistant at Studentsamskipnaden i Bergen, and in 2016 they took on the role of Consultant at FoodBank South Africa. In 2017 they joined Amesto, where they held various roles including Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, Business Intelligence & Analytics Consultant and Junior Business Intelligence Consultant. In 2020, they began working at Aprila Bank as a Data Scientist and Data Analyst | Junior Data Scientist.

Truc Nguyen has an extensive education history. In 2007, they attended Lillestrøm videregående skole/Noroff videregående skole, where they obtained a High School degree in Media and Communication. In 2011, they attended the University of Oslo (UiO) and completed a one-year programme in Psychology. The following year, they attended Oslo and Akershus University College and completed a one-year programme in Development Studies. In 2012, they attended the University of Bergen (UiB) and obtained 15 ECTS in Chinese Language. That same year, they began attending the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where they obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration in 2015. In 2014, they attended the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University for an exchange semester in Economics and Business Administration. In 2015, they returned to NHH and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics and Business Administration with a focus in Business Analysis and Performance Management. In 2016, they attended the Graduate School of Business - University of Cape Town, where they obtained a Minor in Master's Degree in Economics and Business Administration with a focus in Social Entrepreneurship. They also attended the University of Oslo (UiO) and obtained a Minor in Master's Degree in Economics and Business Administration with a focus in Social Entrepreneurship. In 2017, they attended Microsoft University (MSU) and obtained a Business Intelligence degree. Truc Nguyen also has several certifications from Microsoft, including Exam 761: Querying Data with Transact-SQL (2019), MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Development - Certified 2019, Exam 762: Developing SQL Databases (2019), MCSE: Data Management and Analytics - Certified 2019, Exam 779: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Excel (2018), MCSA: BI Reporting - Certified 2018, MCSE: Data Management and Analytics - Certified 2018, Exam 778: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI (2018), Exam 767: Implementing a Data Warehouse (2017), Exam 768: Developing SQL Data Models (2017), and MCSA: SQL 2016 Business Intelligence Development - Certified 2017.
