April’s Kittens is a nonprofit rescue based in Forest Park, IL, dedicated to saving the most vulnerable cats — those who are critically injured, medically complex, or living with special needs. Our mission is to rescue and provide comprehensive medical rehabilitation to cats facing euthanasia or homelessness, then thoughtfully place them into safe, loving, permanent homes where they can truly thrive.

Through our clinic, we are expanding access to affordable veterinary care for stray cats and low-income pet owners alike, working to prevent unnecessary suffering, abandonment, and euthanasia before it happens.

Licensed rescue. Women-owned. LGBTQ+ owned. Nonprofit.
