Elysa Villarreal

Elysa Villarreal is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in sales tax compliance and indirect tax. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Aprio since March 2019, Elysa has progressed from Indirect Tax Specialist to Manager in the same field. Prior to Aprio, Elysa worked at Energy Transfer from December 2013 to November 2018, holding positions from Associate Tax Analyst to Senior Tax Analyst. Elysa began a career in finance as an intern at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where employment spanned from October 2009 to December 2013. Elysa Villarreal earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from The University of Texas at San Antonio, having studied there from 2009 to 2013, and also attended Texas Lutheran University in 2008-2009.
