Kayla Maxey

Kayla Maxey currently serves as Director of R&D Tax Credit Quality & Risk Management at Aprio, a position held since April 2017, after progressing through roles from Manager to Senior Manager within the same department. Prior to joining Aprio, Kayla worked at PwC from July 2011 to December 2015, focusing on tax project delivery as a Tax Senior Associate and Tax Associate. Earlier experience includes a role as a Winter Tax Intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers and a part-time internship as a Level I Accountant at PBS Tax and Accounting, LLC. Kayla Maxey holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia and dual Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Accounting from Mercer University.
