Luis Velasco is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Director of IT at APS Health since August 2018, and previously held the position of IT Manager at APS Healthcare since January 2004. In this role, Luis provides leadership for the technology infrastructure across 16 facilities in Puerto Rico and coordinates off-site users in the United States, managing significant enterprise migration projects. Additionally, Luis has a proven track record in IT project management, successfully overseeing server virtualization and office relocations. Prior to that, Luis was the IT Manager at APS Healthcare Atlanta, where responsibilities included managing local servers and training staff. Luis earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Inter American University of Puerto Rico from 1992 to 1997.
