Jan Dougherty

Jan Dougherty is a strategic leader who advances disability employment systems through data-driven insights, cross-sector partnerships, and policy initiatives aimed at strengthening programs to enhance employer engagement. Since 2010, Jan has worked as a disability rights professional and has held significant positions, including Manager of Community Supports & Development at the Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board and Director of Employment Services at Siffrin Inc. In addition to current roles, Jan serves as a National APSE Board Member and Co-President of Ohio APSE, advocating for employment equity and the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the workforce. Jan engages in contemporary discussions on public policy, supported employment, and best practices, believing in the power of storytelling and thought-provoking questions to effect change.
