George Michalopoulos

Dr. Michalopoulos is a pioneer in the study of molecular pathways involved in liver regeneration. As chairman of the Pathology Department at UPMC, Dr. Michalopoulos is in charge of the hospitals’ laboratories and the processing and diagnosis of biopsy materials.
