Jan-Torben Kessler

Jan-Torben Kessler serves as the CFO at apt Group since September 2023. Previously, Kessler held the CFO position at BOCK from April 2021 to August 2023 and was the Director of Finance and Controlling at ARLANXEO from July 2016 to March 2021, overseeing corporate finance activities for the Arlanxeo Group. Prior experience includes various roles at LANXESS from June 2004 to June 2016, including Head of Financial Controlling & Planning and CFO of Lanxess Argentina S.A. Kessler began his career in the Controlling Trainee Program at Bayer Chemicals AG from November 2002 to May 2004. Kessler earned a Diplom-Kaufmann in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and completed semesters abroad at Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management and Stockholm School of Economics.
