Matt Carolan

Matt Carolan currently serves as the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Apt.Residential since October 2021. Previously, Matt held the position of Board Member and Director at Kambala from February 2018 to May 2023, where responsibilities included Chairperson of the Building and Property Committee. As Principal and Executive Director at Innovate RE from June 2019 to December 2020, Matt oversaw the acquisition of a site in the ACT, facilitating the planning approval for a substantial living facility that was sold in April 2020. Matt's career also includes significant roles at Urbanest, serving as CIO and Executive Director, managing Australia-wide development projects from February 2012 to May 2019, and earlier as Managing Director at Carofam Holdings and MPM Management. Matt began a career in project management at Hayson Group in 1985. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management from the University of Technology Sydney, as well as completion of the Higher School Certificate at Canberra Grammar School.
