Alastair Fleming

Alastair has held senior executive positions in the life science industry. He has a broad business knowledge over a career spanning 39 years, within several different sectors, including Medical Devices (both as a sub-contractor and equipment manufacturing), Pharmaceuticals, and Food. Alastair spent over a decade working in Europe and the USA, with both Private Equity and Venture Capital funding models in medical devices and biotechnology companies. He returned to the UK in 2016 as UK Operations Director for BBI Solutions and more recently held the position of COO at Axol Biosciences. Alastair graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a chemistry and mathematics degree.
