Adam Furgang

Adam Furgang has a diverse work experience with various companies and roles. Adam has worked as a Lead Editor at Aptara since September 2021, focusing on medical web-based eLearning content. Prior to that, they worked as a freelance Writer/Editor, creating medical tech-enhanced content and knowledge assessment questions. Adam has also been a Blog Writer for Medium since 2012, covering topics such as work, art, pop culture, mental health, and politics. Additionally, they have authored a science fiction/adventure novel called "Monster Runners" and worked as an Author for Amazon. Adam has extensive experience as a freelance writer, content developer, and project editor, specializing in a wide range of topics for educational materials. Adam has also worked as a Stock Photographer for Adobe and as a Visual Artist, Graphic Designer, and Photographer for AF Art & Design. Furthermore, they are a licensed commercial drone pilot and owns Droneopolis, LLC, providing aerial and ground-based photography services. Adam has also served as a writer and subject matter expert for AOPA High School Aviation STEM curriculum. Adam has worked as a Web Accessibility Alt Text Writer and Editor for MPS Limited, focusing on educational graphics and illustrations. Adam Furgang attended the University of the Arts from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a BFA degree in Illustration. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1988, they attended the NYC High School of Art and Design, focusing on Illustration. In 2018, they took a Commercial Drone Pilot Training Course at Hudson Valley Community College, specializing in Drones/SUAS. Additionally, Adam obtained a FAA License as a SUAS Commercial Drone Pilot that same year.
