Marie Deghorain

Marie Deghorain currently serves as the Responsable communication et sensibilisation and is also the Responsable projet sensibilisation at aptaskil since August 2019. In this role, Marie leads initiatives aimed at raising awareness among young people about studies and careers in Chemistry and Life Sciences, focusing on promoting scientific and technical fields to attract new talent. Prior to this, Marie held positions as a Project Manager and Training Engineer at ULB HeLSci and worked as a post-doctoral researcher at multiple prestigious institutions, including the Université Libre de Bruxelles and Université Catholique de Louvain. Marie possesses an extensive academic background, with an Engineer’s Degree in Bio-engineering from Université catholique de Louvain, a Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, as well as ongoing Ph.D. studies in Molecular Biology from the same institution.
