Ryan Gembala is the Managing Partner and Founder of Pathbreaker Ventures, a firm dedicated to partnering with specialized founders to create generational impact through emerging technologies. Since June 2015, Ryan has focused on rethinking legacy workflows and systems. In addition to leading Pathbreaker Ventures, Ryan has invested in several startups, including active roles with Simbe Robotics as an Investor and Board Member, as well as investments in xNilio, a stealth startup, Exia Labs, General Galactic, Koobz, Oway, Antares, and Solideon. Ryan holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA, Summa Cum Laude with Honors, in International Business, Marketing, and Spanish from The University of Georgia. Further academic experience includes study at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
