Jessica Munson

Jessica Munson has over 18 years of work experience in the mental health field. Jessica started their career in 2002 as a Direct Support Coordinator at Lexington Center. In 2008, they joined St Mary's Healthcare Amsterdam and held two roles: Clinical Supervising Counselor-St. Mary's Mental Health Adult Clinic and Coordinator of Crisis & Emergency Services for Behavioral Health. In 2016, Jessica founded their own private practice, Live Laugh & Love Therapy, where they provided individual therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy. In 2021, they joined aptihealth as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

Jessica Munson has a diverse educational background. Jessica obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the College of St. Joseph in 2004, after studying there from 2000 to 2004. Jessica then went on to pursue two Master of Arts degrees, one in Counseling Psychology and one in Forensic Psychology, from Marymount University between 2005 and 2007. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including a Clinically Certified Anxiety Treatment Professional from Evergreen Certifications in September 2022, a Certified Anger Management Specialiat II from the National Anger Management Association (NAMA) in August 2022, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor from NYS in October 2011, and a CPI Instructor in Nonviolent Physical Crisis Intervention from the Crisis Prevention Institute in September 2010.
