Tom MacHen

Tom Machen is a seasoned professional in labor relations and construction management, currently serving as the Director of Construction Craft Management at Aptim since July 2017, where oversight includes approximately 2,300 union and 600 non-union hourly craft employees nationwide. Prior to this role, Tom held the position of Labor Relations Manager at Aptim, acting as a liaison in significant projects such as the General Presidents' Project Maintenance Agreement for the Decommissioning of Pacific Gas and Electric’s Humboldt Bay Unit 3 Nuclear Power Plant. Previously, Tom served as Labor Relations Manager at Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc., overseeing the construction of the $6 billion Mixed Oxide Fuel Facility for the Department of Energy. Educational background includes attendance at Hartnell College and Santa Rosa Junior College.
