Mark Butterworth

Mark Butterworth is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial technology sector. As the founder of Aptitude Global since 2014, Mark specializes in FinTech investments, commercial advisory, and data insights. Previously, Mark served as CEO of Datawave, leading data migration and integration solutions, and held advisory and board positions at various firms, including Moogsoft, Hatstand, Behavox, and BlueOptima. Mark's career also includes significant roles at UBS, where responsibilities ranged from executive director of commercialization and tech strategic investments to COO of outsourcing and technology sourcing strategies. Mark holds a BSc (Hons) in Engineering from the University of Exeter.
