Kaia Hongerholt is an experienced professional in the field of therapeutic recreation and youth services, currently serving as a Youth Services Manager at Aptiv since October 2019, after previously holding the position of Youth Services Supervisor. Prior to this role, Kaia completed an internship with Challenge Alaska in early 2019, focusing on therapeutic recreation for individuals with various physical and developmental disabilities. Additionally, Kaia gained experience as a Recreation Supervisor at the Holmen Park & Recreation Department in the summer of 2016, where responsibilities included creating practice plans for youth sports and supervising coaches. Kaia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, earned in 2019.

Aptiv offers benefits counseling, behavioral support, job placement, community and in-home support services, residential services and therapeutic day programming to help individuals with disabilities develop the skills and confidence required to live more-independent and more-engaged lives. Aptiv operates facilities in Blair, Black River Falls, Janesville, La Crosse, Mondovi, Sparta, Tomah, and Viroqua — and provides services to individuals with disabilities in rural areas across 42 counties in Wisconsin. Aptiv is service, personalized. Every service we provide is in support of our mission, to provide a spectrum of innovative support for individuals with disabilities so they may live more independent lives.
