Dr. Rainer Denkelmann is currently the Director of Vehicle E/E Architecture at Aptiv, where they focus on providing reliable infrastructure and redundant power supply for advanced software-defined vehicle features. Previously, Dr. Denkelmann served as the Global Advanced Chief Engineer for Vehicle Systems & Architecture at Aptiv from 2018 to 2022 and held multiple roles at Delphi, including Chief Engineer in Product Development and Global Advanced Engineering. Dr. Denkelmann earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from Ruhr-Universität Bochum between 1988 and 1999.
