Rahul Kumar

Rahul Kumar is a seasoned automotive professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Aptiv since November 2021, Rahul previously held the position of Durability Science Engineer at Stellantis from February 2018 to November 2021, where responsibilities included leading vehicle-level validations and managing fleet testing. Prior to that, a research project at the University of Michigan focused on calibrating diesel engine performance for emissions reduction. Earlier experience as a Vehicle Test Engineer at Hyundai Motor India Engineering involved performance evaluation and functional validation of components, while a brief stint as Sales Manager at Maruti Suzuki India Limited showcased managerial skills and inventory management. Rahul holds a Bachelor's Degree in Automobile Engineering from SRM IST Chennai and a Master's Degree in Automotive Systems from the University of Michigan.
