Mel Henderson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Currently, they are a Lead Content Writer at Aptive Environmental since 2022. Before that, they were an Adjunct Professor of English/University Writing at Brigham Young University since 2017. In this role, they taught university students various writing skills. Prior to that, they worked at Brigham Young University as a Graduate Instructor and Teaching Assistant from 2010 to 2016, focusing on teaching freshman composition and providing support to students. Mel also worked as a Director at BonneFire Creative Group from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, they founded the Utah Chocolate Show in 2004 and produced several events until 2009, serving as a Director and later as a production assistant.
Mel Henderson began their education in 2009 at Brigham Young University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English and a focus on Writing Emphasis and Screenwriting. Mel completed their undergraduate studies in 2012. Afterward, they continued their education at the same institution, earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Brigham Young University between 2012 and 2014.
