Paulo Trezentos

Paulo Trezentos has a long and varied work experience. Paulo started as the Head of O2H Research group at ADETTI in 1999. In 2000, they became the Co-founder and Co-Owner of Caixa Mágica Software. In 2007, they took on the role of DTS at SAPO. In 2011, they became the CEO and co-founder of Aptoide. In 2016, they became a Board Member of Startup Portugal. In 2019, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at Faurecia Aptoide Automotive and a Member of the Supervisory Board at WalliD. Paulo is currently on leave from their role as Assistant Professor at ISCTE.

Paulo Trezentos obtained their Licenciatura in IGE from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa between 1994 and 1999. Paulo then went on to obtain their MsC in Computer Science from Instituto Superior Técnico between 2001 and 2004. Finally, they obtained their PhD in Computer Science from Instituto Superior Técnico between 2005 and 2011.
