Will Stevens

As Aptum’s CTO, Will’s focus is on software-defined cloud solutions. He joined the Aptum executive team through the acquisition of CloudOps in January 2023. As CloudOps’ first employee and CTO, Will has experienced and supported the significant organizational shift of cloud adoption, both from a technical and business value perspective. With a background in development, He has worked with multiple customers to drive their success in cloud services, as well as with service providers to deliver cloud solutions.

Will has a keen eye for sustainability, favoring effective simplicity whenever possible. As a technologist, he is dedicated to user experience, focused on maximizing the usability and utility of any implementation. Will often notes that “a product is only as good as the customer’s ability to use it”, illustrating the importance of a user-focused approach.

Will is an avid open-source advocate. Involved in the Linux and Apache foundations, he has served as the VP of Apache CloudStack and currently sits on the Canadian Open Source Advisory Board. Will holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from McGill University.
