Brian Walsh

Brian Walsh is an experienced professional in the field of biomedical engineering, currently serving as the Director of Development at Aptyx since March 2025, following a long tenure at Medical Murray where responsibilities have included overseeing day-to-day research and development engineering activities as the Research and Development Engineering Manager. In that role, Brian has managed employee workload to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion. Prior positions at Medical Murray included R&D Engineering Team Leader/Manager and Senior Biomedical Engineer, where Brian led development projects for complex medical devices and demonstrated strong project management skills. Earlier experience includes a role as a Student Consultant at the College of Engineering, where responsibilities involved maintaining computer labs and solving hardware and software issues. Brian holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Cardiovascular Biomechanics from the University of Iowa, graduating in 2010.
