Anchises Moraes has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Anchises started their career as a Senior Security Consultant at CPM, where they specialized in specifying InfoSec technologies and processes for a major Brazilian private bank. Anchises then worked as an IT and Security Sr. Consultant at Diff, providing security and IT consulting services to various companies.
Anchises also gained experience as a Threat Intelligence Analyst at RSA Security, where they provided technical expertise in fraud detection solutions and conducted research on cyber fraud tools. Anchises further expanded their skills as a Cybersecurity Mentor at OppC6, guiding individuals in the field of cybersecurity.
In 2013, Anchises joined VeriSign as an iDefense Cyber Intelligence Analyst, delivering timely intelligence reports on the Latin American information security landscape. Anchises also served as a Regional Technical Manager for Latin America, supporting VeriSign's product marketing, sales, and business development teams.
Anchises then joined C6 Bank as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead, where they led the organization's threat intelligence initiatives and managed the Bug Bounty program. Anchises also served as a Global Cyber Security Evangelist, building a cybersecurity corporate culture and promoting best practices and threat awareness.
Outside of their work at C6 Bank, Anchises was involved with Garoa Hacker Clube, where they held the position of Supreme Chancellor and led the Conselho Manda-chuva counsel. Anchises also organized the BSides São Paulo conference, aiming to promote hacker culture and collaboration among security professionals and students in Brazil.
Most recently, Anchises joined Apura Cybersecurity Intelligence as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead.
Anchises Moraes earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo in 1997. Later, from 1999 to 2001, Anchises pursued an MBA in Marketing at ESPM.
