Jordyn Bizzell has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and research. In 2018, they served as a Research Assistant at the CARRT (Center for Assistive, Rehabilitation & Robotics Technologies) at the University of South Florida, where they worked on a project analyzing EMG data using an Arduino microcontroller. Jordyn also assisted in writing and pursuing a US patent for this project. In 2021, Jordyn joined Jabil as an Intern through the Jabil Scholars Program. During this internship, they collaborated on the development of a screen-printed sweat-sensing device, gaining skills in microfluidics, biosensor characterization, PCB circuit design, and app development. Jordyn also received training in manufacturing, quality, and safety standards. Currently, Jordyn is working at Apyx Medical as a Post Market Surveillance and Quality Engineer, starting in 2023.
Jordyn Bizzell obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of South Florida, where they studied from 2017 to 2022. Jordyn also holds additional certifications, including HIPAA Certification obtained from the HIPAA Training Class in May 2019. In April 2017, they received an Adobe Certified Associate in Rich Media Using Flash Professional CS6 from Adobe. Additionally, they obtained an Adobe Certified Associate in Web Communication Using Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 in April 2016. In August 2021, they completed a Biosafety Practices and Principles certification from the University of South Florida. Finally, in May 2021, they obtained a Biomedical Investigators and Key Personnel certification from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY.
