Mats Håkansson

Mats Håkansson is a skilled mechanical engineer with diverse experience in design and testing within the engineering sector. Currently working at BAE Systems Hägglunds AB since September 2022, Mats focuses on mechanical design for the MKIV CV90 vehicle platform. Prior to this role, Mats has held positions as a design engineer at AQ Engineering AB since February 2017, and as a test engineer at Aurobay and Volvo Cars, where responsibilities included testing software and hardware in engine labs. Mats also contributed to the design of a new trainset for SNCB/NMBS Belgium at BOMBARDIER and has foundational experience in operational roles at Volvo Car Group and K-rauta AB. Mats holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and has completed additional coursework in product development and CAD.
