Katie Thompson

Katie Thompson is an experienced professional in learning and human resources, currently serving as a Learning Consultant and Instructional Designer at AQA since June 2016. In this role, Katie utilizes a UX mindset and instructional design methodology to create blended learning interventions that facilitate exam preparation and enhance the capabilities of AQA's personnel. Previously, Katie held the position of HR Business Partner, collaborating with executive leaders to develop solution-focused people strategies. Additionally, Katie has worked as an HR Advisor for both AQA and Servoca Plc, providing comprehensive HR support and recruitment services. Katie's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University, a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and New Media from the University of Liverpool, and ongoing studies for a Professional Diploma in UX Design from the UX Design Institute.
