Bernardo Tavares

Bernardo Tavares is an experienced analytical chemist currently working at Aqdot Limited since February 2024. Prior to this role, Bernardo held positions as Scientist II and Scientist I at Arecor Therapeutics plc from September 2021 to February 2024. Bernardo also worked as a Sortation Associate at Amazon from September 2020 to August 2021. During the academic journey at the University of Leeds, from September 2017 to July 2021, Bernardo completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, focusing on the design and synthesis of peptide agonists and antagonists of formyl peptide receptor 1 (FPR1) under Dr. Megan Wright's guidance. Additionally, Bernardo contributed as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at GoisLab from September 2019 to August 2020. Education was further enriched at Escola Básica e Secundária Quinda das Flores from 2014 to 2017.
