Jennifer Brookes

Jennifer Brookes is a highly experienced Senior Application Scientist currently working at AQEMIA since July 2025, focusing on the application of physics-based computational methods to drug discovery. Previously, Jennifer held senior roles at Cresset Software and Discovery from March 2021 to June 2025 and at Schrödinger in 2020. Jennifer has a strong academic background with significant research experience at University College London, serving as a Senior Research Associate in a multidisciplinary team dedicated to early warning sensing systems for infectious diseases. Earlier roles include Sir Henry Wellcome Fellowships at Harvard University and MIT, where Jennifer investigated quantum effects in biology and advanced computational simulations. Jennifer earned a PhD in Theoretical Physics from University College London and has a robust foundation with an MSc in Physics and a BSc in Physics and Philosophy Joint Honours from King's College London.
