Jonathan Maron

Jonathan Maron has a diverse work experience, starting from June 2015 as an Engineer at BlueStamp Engineering. In June 2017, they interned at LuvCheck as a Lead Developer. Jonathan continued their internships in June 2018 at Paradigm - Automated OTC Trading! and in June 2020 at Freepoint Commodities as a Business Development intern and Quantitative Developer.

In 2019, Jonathan joined Muhlenberg College as a Peer Tutor and Campus Tour Guide. In 2020, they also founded and served as the Treasurer of Alpha Epsilon Pi.

Jonathan'smost recent position as a Quantitative Analyst at Freepoint Commodities from June to September 2021 involved designing and building exotic commodity pricing models, developing market monitoring bots, and improving existing scripts.

Jonathan then joined AQR Capital Management as a Quantitative Researcher from June to August 2022 and is currently working there as a Quantitative Research Analyst starting from July 2023.

Jonathan Maron has an extensive educational background. Jonathan began their education at SAR High School in Riverdale, NY, where they completed their high school studies from 2013 to 2017. Following high school, they attended LevHatorah for a year in 2017-2018, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.

In 2018, Jonathan enrolled at Muhlenberg College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree. During their time at Muhlenberg College from 2018 to 2021, they studied Computer Science, Physical Science, and also completed a minor in Math.

Subsequently, Jonathan attended Columbia University from 2021 to 2023, where they focused on Operations Research with a specialization in Financial Engineering. Jonathan is expected to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University.

In addition to their formal education, Jonathan Maron has obtained certifications to expand their skillset. In February 2021, they became a certified Symphony Bot Developer (Java) through Symphony.com. Furthermore, in August 2020, Jonathan completed a certification in Data Analysis Using Excel from Rice University.
