Michelle Davis Vargas

Michelle Davis Vargas, MS, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality management and engineering, currently serving as CEO and Founder of the Wonderful World of Engineering Series since March 2025 and as a Board Member for the San Diego County Engineering Council. Michelle holds various leadership roles at ASQ World Headquarters, including Deputy Regional Director and several committee chair positions. Previously, Michelle worked at Collins Aerospace as Associate Director of Enterprise Supplier Quality and at Pacira BioSciences, where responsibilities included developing quality systems strategy. With a strong background in quality engineering at Illumina and earlier roles at Scantibodies Laboratory, Quidel, and Stillman Seal, Michelle has consistently demonstrated leadership in quality systems and regulatory affairs. Michelle's educational credentials include a Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs from San Diego State University, ongoing management development at Harvard Business School, and numerous certifications in quality and management.
