Katie started their career as a Resident Advisor at North Carolina State University, where they facilitated training and staff development, organized programs, and enforced university policies. Katie then interned as a Sports Intern at NBC-17/WNCN, where they gathered information for sports events, logged videos, and shot sporting events. After that, they worked as a Manager/Lifeguard at Pool Professionals, where they managed schedules, maintained safety, and communicated with the Neighbor board. Katie then joined NBC-17/WNCN as a Video Editor, editing videos for daily news casts, handling breaking news stories, and editing anchor/reporter packages. Katie further advanced in their career at NBC News Channel, working as a Sports Producer, and at Aqua Tech Pool Management, LLC, where they held the roles of Regional Director, Senior Regional Director, and Director of Operations.
Katie Erdman attended North Carolina State University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Communication.
