Maitry Phukan

Maitry Phukan is a Research and Development Engineer at AquaBattery B.V. since October 2022. Previously, Maitry served as an Alumni Advisor for the Indian Student Association (ISA Delft) from November 2022 to December 2023 and completed a Master of Science thesis at Technische Universiteit Delft, focusing on Mn(IV) reduction pathways in groundwater filters. Additional roles include coaching new master's and exchange students, research assistance in water management, and teaching assistance in chemical conversions. Internships at Numaligarh Refinery Limited, the Indian Institute of Technology in Guwahati, Assam Road Research and Training Institute, and the Public Works Department provided valuable experience in wastewater treatment, runoff analysis, and structural components analysis. Maitry holds a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering Technology from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Jorhat Engineering College.
