Benjamin Mimoun

Benjamin Mimoun serves as the VP of Engineering at Aquablu since May 2025, following a successful tenure at Sonion from October 2013 to May 2025 as Business Development Director. During this period, Benjamin led the venture development that established Sonion Health and was a key member of the global management team. Previously, as Head of Development, Benjamin oversaw the MEMS microphone department, achieving a 30% market share increase and managing a team of over 15 personnel. Benjamin's career includes roles as a post-doctoral researcher and PhD researcher at TU Delft, focusing on flexible sensors and thin film transistors in collaboration with institutions like Philips Research. Academic qualifications include a PhD in MEMS technology from Delft University of Technology and an MSc in Applied Physics from INSA Toulouse.
