Kjell Christian Bruheim has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Kjell Christian began their career in the Royal Norwegian Navy in 2000, where they served as a Petty Officer. During their time in the Navy, they worked as an artillery operator and sonar operator, also handling maintenance on ROVs. In 2006, they transitioned to the role of Private, focusing on sonar operation on Kobben class Submarines and acting as a temporary CPO at a shooting range on Haakonsvern naval base.

Kjell Christian Bruheim has a varied education history. From 1995 to 1996, they attended Frol Vidregående Skole, where they studied Automatiseringstikk. Kjell Christian then moved on to Nauma Vidregående Skole, where they studied Automatiseringstikk again from 1996 to 1997. The following year, from 1997 to 1998, they continued studying Automatiseringstikk at the same school. Later on, from 2007 to 2009, Kjell attended Bergen Maritime Fagskole, specializing in becoming an Officer at sea. In addition to their formal education, it is also mentioned that Kjell attended Austevold Vidregående Skole for a field of study called STCW-78, although specific start and end years are not provided.
