Lisa Bourassa is an experienced aquaculture professional with a strong background in marine biology and fisheries. Currently serving as Hatchery Manager at Aquacultural Research Corp since January 2017, Lisa has previously held roles such as Research Associate III at the Louisiana Sea Grant Oyster Research Laboratory, where expertise in culturing microalgae for the Eastern Oyster was developed. Lisa's career includes positions as a Teacher's Assistant at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences, a Giant Ocean Tank Intern at the New England Aquarium, and various research-related roles at Roger Williams University. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Renewable Natural Resources with a focus on Fisheries and Aquaculture from Louisiana State University, as well as a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Biology and French Language from Roger Williams University.
