Mary Kasper

Mary Kasper, PhD, serves as the Assistant Director for STEM Careers at the University of Chicago since April 2024. Prior to this role, Mary worked as a Consultant at Alto Neuroscience from November 2023 to March 2024 and as a Biomaterials Scientist at Aqua Cultured Foods from May 2022 to October 2023. Mary's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Florida, earned in May 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering from North Carolina State University, obtained in May 2017. Additional research experience includes positions as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Florida, an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Analytical Instrumentation Facility at NC State, and an NSF International Student Researcher at UNSW.
