Giorgio Mirri is an accomplished chemist with extensive experience in both industrial and academic settings. Currently serving as the Head of the Chemistry Laboratory at Aquafil Group since January 2016, Giorgio leads a multidisciplinary team focused on producing polymers and caprolactam from waste, while also providing analytical support. Previous roles include Head of the Development Laboratory for Econyl, where Giorgio managed projects related to production process innovation and raw material assessment, and a Project Manager focused on analytical method development. Prior experiences feature research positions at Jozef Stefan Institute and University of Ljubljana, alongside postdoctoral fellowships at Radboud University Nijmegen and University of Birmingham. Giorgio holds a PhD in Supramolecular Chemistry from the University of Birmingham and multiple degrees in chemistry from esteemed institutions, including Sapienza Università di Roma.

Aquafil SpA, formerly known as Space3 S.p.A., is an Italy-based company engaged in the financial industry. The Company operates as a special purpose acquisition vehicle (SPAC). The Company aims at acquisition of a business combination with an Italian medium-sized privately held company. The funds acquired are intended to be used for an acquisition of a target company, including aggregation by contribution or merger. In addition, upon completion of the transaction, the shares of the target company are to be quoted on the stock exchange. The Company has not a priori specific areas of interest in reference to target's operations, although it envisages focusing on the search for investment in a number of sectors, including luxury, clothing, furnishing, design, food, biomedical industry and advanced mechanical industry.
