Annelies Keirsmaekers

Annelies Keirsmaekers has extensive work experience, starting in 2004 as an Advocate and Partner at Advocatenkantoor Keirsmaekers BVBA. Annelies held this position until 2017. In 2007, they also served as a Municipality Councilor and Faction Leader for Sint-Katelijne-Waver in Open Vld. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Political Secretary at Jong VLD nationaal VZW. In 2017, Keirsmaekers joined Stad Antwerpen as a Leading Lawyer in Finance until 2019. Annelies then joined Argenta and held various roles, including Legal Advisor, Senior Legal Advisor, and Manager of Legal Affairs from 2019 to 2022. Presently, Keirsmaekers works as the Head of Legal Affairs at Aquafin NV starting from June 2022.

Annelies Keirsmaekers obtained a Master's degree in Law from the University of Antwerp between 1999 and 2004. Annelies furthered their education at the Katholieke Universiteit Brussel where they pursued a master-na-master degree in vennootschapsrecht from 2006 to 2008.
