Ritaban Banerjee

Ritaban Banerjee is a Senior Business Analyst at Aquafortus Technologies, where they are involved in a proprietary non-thermal process for converting industrial wastewater to clean water and solid salts. Ritaban joined the company in July 2022.

Prior to that, Ritaban worked as an Investment Manager at NZ Growth Capital Partners from November 2019 to August 2022. Ritaban was responsible for investing in early-stage New Zealand companies with high-growth potential. Ritaban also served as a Senior Investment Analyst in the same company from January 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining NZ Growth Capital Partners, Ritaban worked as a Manager - Corporate Finance at Crowe Horwath New Zealand from July 2018 to November 2019.

From September 2016 to July 2018, Ritaban worked as a Senior Analyst/Analyst at Castalia, where they provided strategic advisory services to corporations and governments in various sectors.

Ritaban also has experience working as a Researcher at The Treasury - New Zealand from January 2016 to September 2016 and as a Summer Intern at BNZ from November 2015 to January 2016.

Ritaban started their career as an Intern at the New Zealand Treasury in September 2015, where they conducted analysis and evaluations related to economic, financial, and regulatory policy.

Ritaban Banerjee completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Imperial College London from 2009 to 2013. Ritaban then pursued their Master of Applied Finance in Accounting and Finance at Victoria University of Wellington from 2014 to 2016. In May 2018, Ritaban obtained the certification of CFA Level I from the CFA Institute.
