Shan Yong

Dr Yong oversees Aquafortus’ R&D activities. She is responsible for managing Aquafortus’ engineering and chemistry teams. She has more than 15 years of experience in engineering roles globally and has worked for Veolia Water Technologies North America, SembCorp Industries, BioLargo and SafBon Shanghai. She is an established author with more than 750 citations on her high impact research papers in the field of Environmental Engineering. Dr Yong has a BSc, MEng and a PhD in Engineering from UIUC, M.I.T and Yale respectively.
