Sven Arild Korsvoll

Sven Arild Korsvoll is an accomplished professional in aquaculture genetics, currently serving as the Breeding Director at Aqua Gen since February 2011, where responsibilities include genetic development and the formulation of business and sales strategies. Previously, Sven held the position of COO for Lobsterproduction at Norsk Hummer from April 2010 to February 2011, focusing on lobster production and project development. Sven's extensive experience at Aqua Gen from March 1996 to April 2010 encompasses roles such as Breeding Manager and COO for Breeding and Production, where efforts included developing breeding programs for Atlantic salmon and Rainbow trout. Sven began the academic journey at the University of Life Science, earning a Master of Science in Aquaculture Genetics in 2005.
