Mario Hertegonne

Mario Hertegonne is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience across various roles in multiple organizations. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board and CEO at DESOTEC since January 2015, Mario also holds positions as Chairman and Member of the Board of Advisors at AQUALEX, and as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Carpentier Hardwood Solutions. Additionally, Mario is the Owner of HERCON BV and has been a Board Member and CEO at Vergalle Group since March 2006. Previous leadership roles include CEO at Inalco NV and Stokota, and General Manager at Bekaert Advanced Coatings. Educational credentials include an MBA in Industrial Engineering from Vlerick Business School and a Master in Mathematics and ICT from Ghent University.
